Pre-Litigation Employment Attorney Career Consulting Partners Glendale, CA Job Details $130,000 - $170,000 a year 3 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Legal advocacy Anti-discrimination law Research Doctor of Law (JD) Bar California labor law Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Full Job Description Pre-Litigation Employment Attorney Career Consulting Partners has teamed up with a large plaintiff-side litigation law firm with its Headquarters in Glendale and offices in New York, Seattle, Newark, Denver, Portland, and Chicago. We are looking for a Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney who will play a crucial role in evaluating potential employment claims, engaging with clients, and striving for favorable resolutions before litigation. Key Responsibilities Review prospective client intakes against liability and damages metrics; conduct supplemental calls to gather facts for complaint filing and pre-suit resolution. Research corporate structures and affiliate entities to ensure proper party naming, and gather necessary records to draft PAGA notices and administrative filings (CRD/EEOC) . Partner with senior attorneys on filing decisions, claim selection, venue, and jurisdictional strategy. Direct early dispute resolution, pre-suit mediations, demand letters, and statutory document requests (Labor Code §§ 226 and 1198.5) across a growing caseload.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) and an active California State Bar license in good standing. 1-3 years in employment law or civil litigation (plaintiff-side experience preferred). Working familiarity with California wage and hour laws, FEHA, CFRA, and PAGA. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, strong analytical reasoning, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Compensation Range:
