Job Description

In 2019, our managing partner R. Brent Wisner stood in front of a California jury and won a $2.055 billion verdict against Monsanto on behalf of a Bay Area couple who developed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma after years of using Roundup. The story is now being made into a major motion picture with Jonathan Bailey playing Brent Wisner. This is the kind of work we do. Wisner Baum is a nationally recognized plaintiff's firm with over $4 billion recovered for more than 20,000 families over four decades. Since 1985, we've taken on the largest corporations in the world — pharma, medical device, agrochemical, aviation — and won the cases that change how those industries operate. We're hiring an Associate Attorney to join our Los Angeles headquarters and work directly on our active dockets.

Full-time, exempt What you'll actually do Most junior associates at large firms spend years before they take a deposition or argue a motion. Not here. Our team is lean by design — you'll work directly with the partners who tried the cases you've read about, and you'll get real reps from day one. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses, treating physicians, and corporate representatives — not just sit in. Draft and argue substantive motions on Daubert, summary judgment, discovery, and pre-trial issues. Appear in California state courts and federal MDL proceedings. Real podium time, real judges. Develop expert testimony with leading scientists, physicians, and engineers in the cases you support. Sit second or third chair at trial — our partners try $100M+ cases and you'll be in the room when they do. Work directly with the families we represent. Their case becomes your case. What you'll be working on Our active dockets right now include: Paraquat — Parkinson's disease litigation against herbicide manufacturers Antipsychotic medications — pharmaceutical product liability Port catheters — medical device defect cases Spinal cord stimulators — implant failure litigation Toxic baby food — heavy metal contamination class actions Commercial transportation, aviation, and catastrophic injury matters Who we're looking for
