Clinicians are expected to deliver thorough and accurate care consistent with the demands of a community health setting. About the Facility Location The Manchester Beach and Mendocino Coast area offers a range of outdoor and nature-based attractions, including horseback riding at Ross Ranch and the scenic Bowling Ball Beach. Wildlife experiences are available at a nearby nature preserve, and the coastline provides whale watching lookouts for those seeking scenic ocean activities. Fort Ross State Historic Park is also accessible within the region, offering additional opportunities for exploration during the assignment. About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will provide outpatient primary care services Monday through Friday on a 4x10 shift schedule, with 2 hours of administrative time allotted each day. Clinical responsibilities include delivering typical primary care services and managing on-site urgent care for acute presentations, primarily for an adult patient population. Clinicians are expected to manage a caseload of 20-24 patients per day and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this position.
