This position begins primarily in-office to support onboarding and collaboration. After your first 90 days, attorneys in good standing are eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Note Candidates must have an active California Bar license and at least 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Personal injury litigation experience is required or strongly preferred. Candidates who do not meet these minimum qualifications will not be considered. Job Description Manage an active civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution. Handle personal injury and construction defect matters with increasing responsibility and independence. Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses. Prepare and argue motions, including demurrers, motions for summary judgment, and other law and motion matters. Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and other litigation proceedings. Communicate directly with clients to provide case updates, strategic guidance, and exceptional service. Develop litigation strategies while managing deadlines and case progression. Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff across the firm's Newport Beach, Sacramento, and Pleasant Hill offices to achieve successful client outcomes. Qualifications Active California Bar license. 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Personal injury litigation experience required or strongly preferred. Construction defect litigation experience preferred. Experience handling written discovery, depositions, court appearances, and law and motion. Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to independently manage multiple active litigation matters.
