Job Description

Description International law firm in San Jose, CA is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of civil litigation experience. This role will focus on a variety of civil litigation matters and will participate in cases through the full litigation lifecycle, from initial case assessment through resolution and trial preparation. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California. Key Responsibilities + Handle matters through all phases of litigation + Manage cases from inception through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation + Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation-related documents + Conduct legal research and develop case strategy + Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related proceedings + Communicate with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel + Manage deadlines, case calendars, and litigation workflow across multiple matters + Support case evaluation, reporting, and resolution strategy Requirements Qualifications + 3+ years of California-based civil litigation experience + Active California bar license required + Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and the litigation lifecycle + Experience drafting motions, discovery, and other litigation documents + Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines + Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills + Must be able to work on-site in Redwood City Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
