We believe that supporting one another internally allows us to provide the best possible service to our clients. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy caseload in a fast-paced litigation environment. This role requires strong procedural knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while remaining collaborative with attorneys and staff. Responsibilities Draft family law pleadings, Judicial Council forms, and related documents Prepare and manage discovery, including drafting requests and organizing responses Draft meet and confer correspondence and assist with motions to compel Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and task management systems Assist attorneys with hearing preparation, trial preparation, and evidentiary organization Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and third parties Prepare and file documents electronically with California courts Organize and summarize financial records and supporting documentation Assist with preparation of Income and Expense Declarations, Schedule of Assets and Debts, and related disclosures Conduct legal and factual research as needed Support attorneys in managing cases from inception through resolution Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A minimum of 3 years prior experience as a family law paralegal Strong understanding of California family law procedures and court rules Experience with: California Rules of Court California Family Code California Code of Civil Procedure Experience preparing and responding to discovery Familiarity with calendaring deadlines and litigation procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Experience with legal case management software such as Clio, MyCase, or Abacus/Caret preferred Familiarity with X-Spouse software is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and collaborative office environment Meaningful involvement in litigation and case strategy Opportunity for long-term growth within the firm Team-oriented culture built on mutual respect and professionalism Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter for consideration.
