Job description Associate Attorney Well established collection law firm in San Jose seeks an attorney to join its team. Responsibilities include interaction with courts, consumers and clients; extensive regulatory review; discovery and motion practice; review and execution of legal documents at all stages of litigation; and various courtroom appearances including motion hearings and trials. This is a tremendous opportunity to increase knowledge and understanding of civil procedure and to gain valuable courtroom experience across the State of California. Qualifications and Skills Admission to California bar required Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and work under pressure of heavy case load Experience not necessary Each attorney will be trained, mentored, and supervised by senior attorneys where necessary Federal admission and experience a plus but not required Benefits Benefits available to full-time employees after introductory period include medical, dental, & vision coverage as well as paid time off.
