This opportunity offers direct mentorship from an experienced practitioner while providing exposure to unlawful detainer matters, property disputes, land-use litigation, and related civil litigation work. Attorneys in this role will work in a fast-paced environment with substantial courtroom exposure and increasing autonomy as they ramp into the practice. Responsibilities Handle unlawful detainer matters from intake through trial Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation-related filings Conduct hearings, court appearances, and trial preparation Manage landlord-tenant and property-related disputes Maintain direct client communication and provide litigation strategy guidance Collaborate with leadership while independently managing a caseload Participate in broader real estate and land-use litigation matters Qualifications 3+ years of landlord-tenant or eviction litigation experience California Bar admission in good standing Courtroom and litigation experience preferred Real estate litigation experience strongly preferred Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $175,000 - $225,000+ Bonus opportunities Origination/business development incentives Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match PTO and paid holidays Hybrid, remote, or onsite flexibility, depending on the candidate's preference Location San Rafael, California Interview Process Three interview stages with firm leadership and team members
