Employment Defense Attorney We are partnered with a firm in Westlake Cillage, Ca. that is seeking a highly motivated Employment Law Attorney with 3 -7 years of litigation experience to join their growing Labor & Employment practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in employment law, excellent writing skills, and experience handling cases from initial intake through resolution.
Responsibilities:
Defend employers in employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour matters Conduct investigations, interviews, and fact development Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances Provide day-to-day counsel on employment law compliance and risk management Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and litigation planning
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school Active CA bar membership in good standing 3-7 years of employment litigation as a practicing attorney Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working in a team environment
