Full-time Description Associate Attorney - Pre-Litigation Omega Law Group is a prestigious personal injury law firm serving California and Texas. Position Overview:
We are seeking a experienced personal injury attorney to join our prelitigation department. In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation. You will diligently represent our clients' interests and ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.
Responsibilities:
Manage cases through the pre-litigation process from intake through demand, negotiation, and settlement Review and analyze case files to identify legal issues, assess strengths and weaknesses, and develop case strategies Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates, settlement offers, and other relevant matters Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law Review work product, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-litigation processes May provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to legal staff involved in pre-litigation matters Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, opposing parties, witnesses, medical professionals, law enforcement, and colleagues in personal injury cases Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills This role is located at our West Hollywood office and requires physical presence on-site.
Compensation:
$125,000 - $200,000 including commission (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
