AND FAMILY SERVICES ABOUT THE POSITION
The town of Eaton is seeking a part-time Library Associate- Adult and Family Services to join our close-knit Library team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides welcoming, responsive customer service and assists customers with library resources, technology, and services. Plans and facilitates adult and family programs and community outreach. Supports circulation, collection development, displays, marketing, and other day-to-day library operations. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and understands the value a public library brings to its community. You're comfortable working with customers of all ages and backgrounds, can balance multiple priorities, and bring a positive, collaborative approach to your work. The ideal candidate is also comfortable with technology, enjoys developing programs and engaging with the community, and can work both independently and as part of a small team. Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. One (1) year of progressively responsible experience in public service, a library, or a related field, in addition to any experience used to meet the education requirement. Reliable transportation is required. Must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings. Must be available to work regular evening and Saturday hours.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Schedule :
Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week, including regular evening and Saturday hoursSalary Range :
$22.30- $30.
Anticipated Hiring Range :
$22.30- $23.
Benefits :
