Job Description

Job Summary:
Griffiths Law PC is looking for a paralegal to assist an attorney with a demanding caseload. This paralegal would be working on a caseload containing family law cases. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to gain experience in the legal field. Your duties will include a wide range of tasks, including managing calendars and deadlines, filing pleadings, making trial notebooks, writing, making phone calls, assisting in client meetings, taking notes, and assisting in court. The best person for this job will have some experience as a paralegal, an undergraduate degree with a respectable GPA and may (but is not required to) be considering whether to pursue a career in the legal field, whether as a paralegal or an attorney. A degree in paralegal studies, pre-law, or a paralegal certificate is a plus, but is not required. The right applicant will be able to work well on a team, detail-oriented, highly organized, able to work under pressure, proficient with computer programs and spreadsheets, able to type quickly, and willing to do whatever is needed to support the attorneys in the practice group. We are eager to train the right person provided you are hardworking and willing to learn. If you want to be part of a fast-paced environment and can work with constant time demands, you will enjoy this position. This position is not remote and requires a presence in the office. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including company-paid 401k contributions, medical/dental insurance, and 16 days of paid vacation/sick leave per year.
