Tebo Properties offers a diverse portfolio of more than 250 properties and over four million square feet of office, retail, and industrial space. Position Overview Associate General Counsel Commercial Real Estate Tebo Properties is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join the company's headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Counsel of the company. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with experience or strong interest in: Lease, and lease related agreements; Purchase and sale transactions; Transaction management; and Disputes, evictions, collections, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Manage projects in a timely and professional manner Build and maintain strong relationships with other team members, departments, and stakeholders Support the company in all legal aspects of owning, leasing, developing, and managing commercial real estate Draft and negotiate real estate agreements and legal documentation Assist with commercial acquisitions and dispositions, including transaction management, title and survey review, due diligence, and closings Handle commercial leasing matters for office, retail, and industrial properties Handle dispute resolution and negotiation Coordinate with outside counsel to effectuate evictions, litigation, and settlements Apply strong drafting, analytical, and strategic thinking skills across a variety of real estate transactions and matters Work collaboratively with General Counsel and the company's management Qualifications 2-10+ years of real estate and/or transactional law experience Licensed to practice law in Colorado J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Experience with commercial real estate transactions, development, or leasing, is preferred, but not required Strong drafting, organizational, and communications skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment Compensation & Benefits Compensation commensurate with experience Annual bonus potential, discretionary based on performance Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education allowance Some benefits may be subject to a probationary period and/or require employee contribution for availability
