Job Description

We are looking for an experienced In House Counsel to join a leading aerospace organization in East Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide practical legal guidance on complex commercial matters, support key business initiatives across the Americas, and help balance strategic goals with legal and regulatory considerations. This position is well suited for a business-minded attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment and is interested in long-term growth within a global company.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements that support business operations throughout the Americas region.
  • Partner with internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders to deliver clear, practical legal advice on commercial transactions and contract-related issues.
  • Advise the business on sophisticated deals by identifying legal exposure, evaluating operational risk, and recommending workable solutions.
  • Represent the legal function in discussions with customers, vendors, and external partners while fostering productive working relationships.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure contractual arrangements align with corporate policies, regulatory obligations, and business objectives.
  • Support high-value negotiations involving commercial terms, risk allocation, and compliance considerations across a range of agreements.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the broader global legal team to address region-specific matters and contribute to consistent legal support across the organization.
  • Manage contract matters from initial drafting through execution and ongoing administration, ensuring timely and accurate legal support.
