IPV-FAIR
(Intimate Partner Violence-Family Assessment Intervention Response) Program that serves New London and Middlesex Counties in Connecticut.
IPV-FAIR
is a DCF funded, 6 month intensive in-home program that provides child centered services for families negatively impacted by family violence. The
IPV-FAIR
Supervisor will join our supportive, dynamic team of in-home Supervisors and Program Managers, and have the opportunity to do highly impactful and meaningful work each day to help families and children. This rewarding position is best suited for someone who is passionate about child welfare, family work, enjoys challenges, can work independently, and has strong leadership and collaboration skills. The selected candidate will also receive extensive training in Fathers for Change, Mothers and More, the intersection of IPV and substance use, Circle of Security, Risking Connection, and Motivational Interviewing.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of 6; 3 IPVFAIR Clinicians and 2 IPVFAIR Family Navigators Assess and support staff in reporting suspected child abuse and neglect within the 12hour time frame (verbally) and 24hour time frame (written) Attend and participate in weekly supervision. Provide weekly, reflective supervision to direct report staff, helping to support professional development Lead weekly team meetings and provide appropriate training opportunities to ensure program/model adherence Act as the liaison between the program staff, DCF, and the rest of the agency/community, to include assisting in crisis management, coordinating care with other providers/funders, collaborating with DCF, providing feedback on assessments and data, and advocating for staff and program Provide feedback and leadership for Quality Improvement initiatives within the Department Work towards continued quality improvement and overall success of the program Analyze and oversee program data to assess program performance and needs Attend meetings with DCF as needed to support staff and families
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Service or related field (MSW, Marriage & Family Counseling, MA in Counseling, Psychology, etc.) Fully licensed;
LCSW, LPC, LMFT
Previous Supervisory experience
Salary:
$70,00076,000. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred with a significant pay differential offered.
