These individuals provide strategic guidance and support across various industries. In commercial law and regulatory at PwC, you will advise on regulatory and public policy relating to PwC's commercial activities; responding to inquiries or investigations launched by regulators; understanding the legal impact on the business of regulatory directives and orders; preparing commercial partners and staff for public enquiries and hearings. Translating the vision, you set the tone, and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. As part of the Office of General Counsel's Counseling group, you willprovidelegal advice to PwC's professionals, leadership, and risk management on various business issues, regulatory (covering multiple industries) and commercial disputes. Counselors also review and advise on engagement letters and other agreements related to client work.Responsibilities:
Provide pragmatic, strategic legal advice to PwC's professionals and leadership Manage on a time-sensitive and agile basis multiple legal matters and projects in various industries and sectors,identifyingand analyzing complex legal issues Pivot efficiently and effectively betweenvarious differentlegal topical areas and types of matters from regulatory, contract and agreement drafting and review and commercial disputes Develop andmaintaintrusted advisor relationships with PwC's professionals and leadership in the business, in OGC and in various business services team Uphold adherence to quality, integrity, and inclusion standards What you must have: Juris Doctorate At least 5 years of experience handling commercial dispute and/or litigation and/or regulatory enforcement mattersWhat Sets You Apart:
7+ years of prior experience handling litigation and/or regulatory enforcement matters Demonstratingthought leader-level abilities in handling complex legal issues involving significant risk and requiring the application of seasoned judgment Analyzing complex legal/regulatory/business issues effectively andprovidingappropriate legal adviceregardingapplicable legal and professional standards often on a time-sensitive basis Negotiating legal issues withproficiency Building consensus and delivering difficult messages andassistingin developing policies and procedures designed to enhance quality and manage risk The salary range for this position is: $122,500- $423,780. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $122,500
