As we scale, we are seeking a Senior Immigration Attorney to lead our legal team, uphold our high standards of case quality, and play a key role in shaping the future of the firm.
  • Position Overview The Senior Immigration Attorney will serve in a leadership and supervisory role, managing a team of paralegals, legal assistants, and junior attorneys.
This individual will ensure the quality, timeliness, and strategic direction of all legal work, while also stepping in directly on casework when needed to maintain workflow continuity and uphold firm standards. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced immigration attorney who is ready to take ownership of both team leadership and high-level legal execution in a growing firm.
  • Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management
  • Supervise and mentor paralegals, legal assistants, and junior attorneys
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development to the legal team
  • Ensure team adherence to firm processes, quality standards, and deadlines
  • Step in to support the team during high-volume periods, staffing gaps, or complex matters Case Oversight & Quality Control
  • Review cases prior to filing to ensure legal sufficiency and quality
  • Review and finalize
RFE/NOID
responses, motions, and other complex filings
  • Ensure all cases meet eligibility requirements before submission
  • Maintain consistency and excellence across all filings Hands-On Legal Work (as needed)
  • Draft and/or revise RFE responses, briefs, motions, and complex filings as needed
  • Provide strategic input on challenging cases and legal arguments
  • Step into active casework to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met Case Management & Operations
  • Oversee deadlines, case timelines, and task management systems
  • Ensure timely filings and compliance with all procedural requirements
  • Supervise case closing processes, including final documentation and client communication Client Representation
  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court
  • Represent clients at USCIS interviews
  • Provide legal strategy and guidance on complex immigration matters Firm Growth & Strategy
  • Contribute to improving internal systems, workflows, and legal processes
  • Support the firm's scaling efforts through strong leadership and accountability
  • Help build a high-performing, mission-driven legal team
  • Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with any U.S. state bar
  • Minimum 4+ years of immigration law experience
  • Experience managing or mentoring legal staff preferred
  • Strong knowledge across immigration practice areas (family-based, VAWA, T visas, U visas, asylum, waivers and removal defense)
  • Experience with representing clients removal proceedings
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on legal work
  • Strong attention to detail
