Position Overview The Personal Injury Attorney with Commercial Litigation Experience will manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is an experienced litigator with a strong understanding of personal injury law, a background in commercial litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to advocate effectively for injured clients. Responsibilities Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from filing through settlement, trial, or verdict. Conduct case evaluations, legal research, and liability and damages analysis. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings as needed. Apply commercial litigation experience and complex case strategy to high-value or complex personal injury matters. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and legal strategy. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and support staff to maximize case outcomes. Stay current on applicable laws, regulations, and developments affecting personal injury litigation. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active Bar license in good standing in Florida. Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with a background in commercial litigation required. Strong knowledge of personal injury law, civil procedure, and litigation practices. Experience handling depositions, motion practice, negotiations, and mediations. Trial experience is a plus but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities. Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment. Client-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
