This role requires excellent research and writing skills and will be research and writing intensive, with the opportunity to expand into advocacy and litigation, if desired. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in one or more areas of civil practice, including business law, construction law, probate, and/or real estate law. The Associate Attorney will work closely with our partners, who are highly decorated civil litigation attorneys, to provide comprehensive legal support and representation. Duties Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. Manage case files and maintain organized records of all legal proceedings. Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation. Opportunities to attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings are available. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact cases. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar association and active license to practice law. Strong understanding of one or more areas of civil practice, including business law, construction law, probate/elder law, and/or real estate law. Excellent legal research skills with the ability to analyze complex information. Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail in written communication. 1-3 years of experience is a plus but recent graduates with exceptional academic records will also be considered. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual caseloads effectively.
