In this pivotal role, you will lead the foreclosure process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations while advocating for our clients' interests. Your expertise will help streamline legal proceedings related to mortgage defaults, while providing strategic counsel on related legal matters. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your legal acumen and negotiation skills will make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate is passionate about law, highly organized, and eager to navigate complex foreclosure cases with confidence and professionalism. Duties Manage the full foreclosure process, including filing pleadings, notices, and motions in accordance with state and federal laws Conduct thorough legal research on foreclosure statutes, regulations, and relevant case law using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw Draft and review legal documents related to foreclosure proceedings, ensuring accuracy and clarity Negotiate with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders to resolve foreclosure issues amicably when possible Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations related to foreclosure cases Maintain detailed case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely progression of each case through the legal system Collaborate with law office staff on administrative tasks including document management and case updates Skills Extensive knowledge of foreclosure law procedures Proven ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms Strong negotiation skills to facilitate settlements or alternative resolutions when appropriate Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, legal memos, correspondence, and reports Experience in legal drafting with attention to detail and clarity Familiarity with law office management systems and legal administrative processes Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions
Qualifications:
