Job Description

Job description Litigation Attorney - Where Your Judgment Matters We're not going to tell you we're "dynamic" or that we're looking for a "rockstar." Here's the reality: we're a tight-knit firm of attorneys (plus stellar support staff) who've built something different. Our clients range from scrappy $5M+ companies to billion dollar entities, and they all have real problems that need smart solutions.
The Role:
You'll own your cases. Not shadow someone else's. First-chair depositions, hearings, and trials. Direct client relationships. Strategic decisions you actually get to make. If you've spent the last several years doing the work while someone else got the credit (and the call from the client), this is where that changes. You'll handle a mix of commercial litigation and business disputes for clients who treat us like their general counsel, not a vendor. That means the work is substantive, the relationships are long-term, and your judgment carries weight from day one.
You Should If:
You have 4+ years of litigation experience (more is welcome) You're barred in Florida (non-negotiable) You've taken depositions, argued motions, and tried cases (or come close enough that the next step is obvious) You write like writing matters. Because it does You can run a case without someone looking over your shoulder You want a seat at the table on firm direction, not a desk in the corner You're tired of firms that talk about culture but bill you into oblivion
The Details:
$140K+ base depending on experience, plus origination and performance bonuses 1,600 billable hours. Roughly 200-400 fewer than where you are now, and we mean it Remote-friendly, but must be located in South Florida for court appearances You'll work with businesses that actually do interesting things We believe weekends are for living, not billing If you think legal writing is an art form and you want to practice law instead of just talking about it, let's talk. Send your cover letter (make it interesting), resume, and a writing sample that showcases why words matter.
