This role is instrumental in identifying and securing raw land opportunities with strong development potential. The ideal candidate is not afraid to cold call landowners, thrives on being on the road to scout opportunities, and brings a strategic mindset to acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
    Land Sourcing & Acquisition :
    Identify and evaluate raw land opportunities suitable for multifamily.
      Cold Calling & Outreach:
      Initiate and maintain relationships with landowners through direct outreach and cold calling to discuss potential acquisitions.
        Market Research:
        Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover high-growth areas and undervalued properties with significant development potential.
          Collaboration:
          Work closely with real estate brokers, development teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth land acquisition transactions.
            Travel & Site Exploration:
            Spend 2-3 days per week traveling to identify potential properties, assess site conditions, and meet with key stakeholders.
              In-Office Work:
              Dedicate 2-3 days per week to conducting financial analyses, preparing reports, and developing presentations to support investment decisions.
                Due Diligence:
                Assist in reviewing zoning regulations, environmental assessments, and other pre-acquisition tasks to ensure project feasibility.
                Qualifications:
                • 2+ years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or a related field (Not Required)
                • Proven ability to cold call and establish relationships with landowners and other stakeholders.
                • Strong knowledge of multifamily development processes and market trends.
                • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
                • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
                • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field (preferred but not required).
                • Familiarity with real estate market analysis tools and software is a plus.
