Civil Litigation Attorney

High volume, fast-paced local law firm is seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing team to handle cases of various areas of civil law. This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level associate who is ready for a high level of responsibility and wants to gain significant hands-on experience in the courtroom and with clients.

Key Responsibilities Case Management:

Manage a diverse caseload of contested civil matters from inception through resolution.

Litigation Tasks:

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

Court Appearances:

Represent clients in state and federal court for routine and contested hearings, trials, and mediations.

Discovery:

Conduct and defend depositions and manage complex document production.

Communication:

Maintain regular, clear communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, including motion practice and deposition experience.

Bar Admission:

Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills:

Exceptional research and writing skills, strong oral advocacy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
