9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Job Description Position Summary Our client, is seeking a mid-level Complex Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Miami office. The attorney will work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes representing businesses, corporations, financial institutions, and other clients in complex litigation matter before Florida state and federal courts. The role will involve handling cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, expert development, depositions, trial preparation, and trial. The associate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators on matters requiring strong legal analysis, strategic case management, and effective advocacy. The ideal candidate's resume should demonstrate strong general and complex commercial litigation experience, preferably gained at a top-tier law firm or through comparable federal judicial clerkship experience. The client will look for hands-on experience managing large-scale discovery, taking and defending depositions, developing and working with expert witnesses, drafting and arguing substantive motions, conducting legal research, and managing litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial. Strong legal writing, analytical, organizational, research, and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate experience handling matters in Florida state and federal courts and the ability to manage multiple aspects of sophisticated litigation with limited supervision. Professional working proficiency in Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required, and candidates must be admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
