401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Campos Law Firm is looking for a highly motivated, driven, and proactive Family Law Attorney to join our team. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for supporting clients through difficult divorce and child custody situations. Prior experience is not required; however, candidates with relevant experience will be strongly valued. Above all, we value empathy, dedication, compassion, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials. Develop effective legal strategies for case defense. Draft pleadings, motions, and essential legal documents. Advise clients on legal processes and expectations. Collaborate with the internal legal team to optimize processes. Stay updated on legal developments and precedents. Maintain organized case files and communicate effectively with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients.
Requirements:
Admission to the state bar in Florida and active legal license Excellent oral and written advocacy skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management platforms like Clio.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a public defender or work in a government prosecutor's office. (highly valued but not required). Interest or knowledge in Family Law.
