Seeking an Associate Attorney to manage multiple research and writing projects simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
Summary:
Seeking an attorneys interested in practicing civil litigation. The role is suited for recent graduates or candidates preparing to sit for the Florida Bar. The position requires strong communication and legal writing skills, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a litigation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Extensive legal research and writing. Draft motions, memoranda, and other pleadings. Defend and conduct depositions. Attend and argue hearings. Draft appellate briefs. Prepare deposition summaries. Respond to discovery requests. Manage multiple research and writing projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Assist with trial preparation.
Qualifications:
Excellent academic credentials. Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills. Comfort interacting directly with clients, opposing counsel, and judges.
For recent graduates:
willingness and eligibility to sit for the Florida Bar upon graduation. Competitive salary and benefits. Potential additional compensation for bar preparation coursework, depending on start date for recent graduates.
