Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law and regulations, litigation, patent law, landlord-tenant law, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering comprehensive legal services, conducting thorough legal research using platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw, and honing their skills in legal drafting and negotiation. This position is designed for motivated legal professionals eager to grow their expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed legal research across multiple practice areas utilizing LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools to support case development and client advisement. Draft clear and precise legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence that meet professional standards. Assist in preparing for hearings, negotiations, mediations, and trials by organizing evidence and developing strategic arguments. Support attorneys in managing case files, maintaining accurate records of litigation activities, and tracking deadlines to ensure compliance with court requirements. Engage in client consultations to gather pertinent information and provide updates on case progress under supervision. Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel or parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Stay informed on evolving laws and regulations across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, securities law, and tribal law to provide current legal advice. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required or pending. Demonstrated experience or strong interest in multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, landlord-tenant law or related fields. Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with legal writing and drafting is essential. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex laws and regulations accurately. Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities for client interactions and negotiations. Prior legal administrative experience is preferred but not mandatory; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential. Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
