Job Description

Full Job Description Elbaz & Elbaz, LLC is a growing criminal defense law firm located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. We represent clients throughout Gwinnett County, Metro Atlanta, and North Georgia in matters ranging from traffic offenses and DUI cases to serious felony charges. We are seeking a motivated, hardworking attorney who is passionate about criminal law and eager to gain significant courtroom and litigation experience. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, appear in court regularly, develop trial skills, and grow alongside a rapidly expanding criminal defense practice. Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in misdemeanor and felony criminal cases
  • Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies
  • Attend court appearances, hearings, and trials throughout Metro Atlanta
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and legal correspondence
  • Review discovery, police reports, body camera footage, and evidence
  • Negotiate with prosecutors and opposing counsel
  • Prepare cases for hearings and jury trials
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status
  • Manage an active caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work product
Qualifications Required:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar or recent graduate awaiting July 2026 Bar Exam results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
  • Criminal defense experience
  • Prosecutorial experience
  • Public defender experience
  • Courtroom litigation experience
  • Jury trial experience Prior criminal defense experience is preferred but not required.

  • $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation includes performance-based bonuses. Schedule
