Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing complex legal disputes, providing expert counsel, and advocating vigorously for our clients across a broad spectrum of legal areas. Your expertise will drive successful case outcomes, support strategic litigation initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of legal advocacy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse cases, including personal injury, employment law, estate planning, environmental law, and more, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Duties Manage all phases of litigation from initial case assessment through trial and appeal, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic execution. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, settlement agreements, and discovery requests with precision and clarity. Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on procedural laws. Prepare for court depositions by developing questions, analyzing witness testimony, and coordinating with clients and experts. Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, mediations, and hearings with compelling advocacy skills. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, communicate case developments clearly, and provide sound legal counsel. Maintain meticulous case management records using legal case management systems to ensure deadlines are met and documentation is organized. Skills Extensive knowledge of procedural law and experience in general & commercial litigation or and more preferable Criminal Law. Strong negotiation skills to facilitate favorable settlements while protecting client interests. Proven ability to draft complex legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and discovery materials with excellent writing skills. Skilled in trial preparation techniques such as organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for depositions or court testimony, and developing effective courtroom strategies. Proficient in legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather relevant case law and statutory information efficiently. Exceptional client communication skills to explain legal options clearly and foster trust throughout the litigation process. Experience with legal administrative tasks such as case file management and procedural compliance within a busy law office environment. Demonstrated capability in handling personal injury cases from inception through resolution with a focus on thorough research and advocacy.
