- Marietta, GA Our client is a premier divorce and family law firm serving clients all over the East Coast. They are searching for a Family Law Attorney to join their team ASAP!
Salary:
$100k base salary (flexible/based on experience) + bonus + full comprehensive benefits
Job Summary:
A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its Marietta office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is comfortable managing cases independently and enjoys working in a collaborative, client-focused environment. The firm offers strong administrative support, a steady caseload, and opportunities for professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a full caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution. Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings. Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal guidance. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents. Negotiate settlements involving divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and other domestic relations matters. Maintain accurate case files and documentation using a legal case management system. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service. Meet established billable hour expectations.
Qualifications:
Required Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia. 2+ years of family law litigation experience. Ability to independently handle hearings, motions, and court appearances. Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Preferred Trial experience. Experience handling complex or high-net-worth divorce matters. Mediation or alternative dispute resolution experience.
