We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Third-Year Law Student to join our team as an entry-level attorney. As a part of a small, dynamic firm, this position offers hands-on experience and direct exposure to various legal practice areas. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive law student eager to build their legal career in a growing firm.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity for a third-year law student who is nearing graduation and seeking to launch their legal career. The ideal candidate will be involved in a wide range of legal tasks, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting attorneys in case preparation. This role will provide invaluable experience and mentorship as you transition from law school to practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and contracts. Assist senior attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions. Review and summarize case files, depositions, and discovery materials. Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress. Attend client meetings, court hearings, and depositions (under supervision) as needed. Assist in preparing case strategy and participating in case management. Collaborate with attorneys and staff on various projects and administrative tasks. Maintain case files and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited law school and scheduled to graduate in 2025. Strong academic background with a demonstrated interest in family law, juvenile law, criminal defense, and estate planning . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented setting. Admission to the Georgia Bar (or plans to sit for the bar exam following graduation).
