Attorney/Lawyer

Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support business operations through practical legal guidance and strong contract management. This Long-term Contract position is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and will focus heavily on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a large volume of commercial agreements. The role requires someone who is detail oriented and can advise managers on day-to-day legal matters while helping ensure client service agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts with a primary focus on service-related agreements
• Provide timely legal counsel to operational leaders and managers on routine business matters and contractual issues
• Interpret agreement terms, identify areas of legal or business risk, and recommend practical solutions
• Support client-facing contract activity by preparing revisions, responding to redlines, and clarifying legal language
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure agreements reflect business needs while maintaining legal compliance
• Manage multiple negotiations at once and keep contract work moving efficiently to meet business timelines The pay range for this position is $50 to $55.

• Proven experience handling contract drafting, review, and negotiation in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial agreements, including service agreements and related terms and conditions
• Ability to provide clear, business-focused legal advice to managers and operational teams
• Demonstrated skill in balancing legal risk with practical business considerations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
