KENILWORTH, IL
Job Description The Church of the Holy Comforter (CHC) is seeking an Associate for Family Ministry. The Church of the Holy Comforter is a thriving Episcopal Church in Kenilworth, Illinois. Those looking to join our team should be detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about collaboration. Candidates must be comfortable working with adults within our parish as well as young children in our preschool, and leading families to deepen their personal faith. Our Associate for Family Ministry will support the ministry team with various programmatic, administrative, and strategic responsibilities, including Sunday School, family pastoral support, relationship building with our community, and serving as a bridge between the Church and the families in our All Things Bright & Beautiful preschool. Our mission is to "transform ourselves and the world through Love." We know that continuing to achieve that mission relies on intergenerational flourishing. Our Associate for Family Ministry will work closely with our clergy team, our vestry, and our parent leadership to facilitate the long-term success of our mission. Central to our program at Holy Comforter is the idea that children participating in our community are encouraged to grow into the truest versions of themselves, rather than being shaped into any particular perspective.
