Location:
Floyds Knobs, Indiana. This is an on-site opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues in person. The office is conveniently positioned to serve both Southern Indiana and the greater Louisville market.
Note:
Candidates must have 2+ years of relevant attorney experience in estate planning, probate, elder law, trusts and estates, or closely related work. An active bar license in any state is acceptable, but candidates must be able to obtain appropriate licensure in both Indiana and Kentucky. We are not considering newly licensed attorneys for this opening. Job Description Advise individuals and families on estate planning, probate, elder law, and related trusts and estates matters Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other estate planning documents Guide clients through estate and probate administration from initial consultation through resolution Counsel clients regarding asset protection, incapacity planning, elder care, and wealth-transfer strategies Manage client matters independently while collaborating with attorneys across complementary practice areas Develop trusted relationships with clients, referral partners, and community contacts Participate in business development and practice growth based on experience and interest Maintain high standards of responsiveness, professionalism, legal analysis, and client service Qualifications 2+ years of relevant attorney experience Experience in estate planning, probate, elder law, trusts and estates, or closely related practice Active bar license in at least one U.S. state Ability to obtain licensure in Indiana and Kentucky Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and client counseling skills Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships Existing client relationships or a portable book of business are valuable, but not required Why You Will Love Working Here You will have the opportunity to practice meaningful, relationship-driven law without being limited to a narrow role.
