Job Description
- Associate Attorney
Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, from property law, civil litigation, estate planning, family law, personal injury and criminal law.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases and provide counsel to clients
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement legal strategies
- Represent clients in court and in pre-trial negotiations
- Stay up-to-date on changes in relevant laws and regulations, including those related to family law
- Utilize legal research tools to identify relevant precedents and case law
- Perform other legal administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed attorney with a current license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with legal research tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
