Job Description

Leon and Associated is looking for an Experienced Licensed Personal Injury Associate Attorney. You will play a pivotal role in our client legal team, and will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury cases, providing legal counsel, negotiating claims pre-litigation and representing clients in court. Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a caseload of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case evaluation.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies for clients.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and staff to achieve case objectives.
  • Maintain client communication and provide updates on case progress.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland AND/OR Virginia
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload with autonomy.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to client advocacy.
