Job Description
BSG Law is seeking a personable, client-focused Staff Attorney to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking representation in personal injury, workers' compensation, and medical malpractice matters. This is a unique, highly client-facing position designed for attorneys who genuinely enjoy talking with people, building rapport, and delivering an outstanding client experience. Rather than managing litigation or attending court hearings, this role focuses on guiding prospective and new clients through the critical early stages of representation. As a Case Onboarding Staff Attorney, you will: Conduct comprehensive consultations with prospective clients regarding personal injury, workers' compensation, and medical malpractice claims Gather facts, assess potential matters, and ensure all necessary information is collected accurately and compassionately Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and newly retained clients Prepare and distribute retainer agreements and new client documentation Guide clients through the onboarding process and answer questions regarding representation Coordinate medical treatment and schedule appointments with approved healthcare providers when appropriate Enter and maintain detailed information within case management software File initial claims and related documentation Ensure each new client receives a seamless, professional, and supportive experience from day one Collaborate closely with attorneys, case managers, and support staff to ensure smooth case transitions
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Bar admission Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and organization Ability to manage multiple conversations, tasks, and deadlines simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications:
D.C. Bar admission Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, medical malpractice, or plaintiff-side litigation Familiarity with Neos case management softwareBenefits:
