Job Description
Senior Legal Counsel
ProfileThe candidate will review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts for goods and services. Will also provide legal advice to Procurement and various business teams with respect to risk and/or interpretation of the contract. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide-range of vendor contracts including non-disclosure, facilities, purchase/supply, e-commerce, consulting, general services, technology agreements for software and application licensing, software as a service, HR, benefits, outsourced functions and services, construction and other real estate, auditing and tax. Providing internal business units with legal advice and counsel on matters arising from existing contracts which may include legal risk, interpretation of terms, compliance with contract terms, termination and renewal. Assisting in negotiations to resolve contract disputes with third parties. Handle and/or provide assistance on projects relating to contract review and management. Provide general legal advice to a wide array of business units.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Law Degree from accredited school of law. Must have 10+ years of related work experience. Must preferably have 15 + years of relevant experience since the date of Bar admission in a private law firm or corporate legal department setting. Knowledge of global Intellectual Property and Privacy laws a plus. Must have in-depth specialized knowledge of the review and negotiation of technology contracts, software licenses, maintenance and support and consulting agreements and other similar business arrangements and contracts.
