What You'll Be Doing As an Estate Planning Attorney, you will serve as a trusted counselor and strategic advisor to clients and their families.
Responsibilities include:
Designing comprehensive estate plans tailored to each client's goals Drafting sophisticated estate planning documents Preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives Advising clients regarding wealth transfer strategies Counseling closely held business owners on succession planning Assisting with trust and estate administration matters Coordinating with accountants, financial planners, and fiduciaries Guiding clients from initial consultation through implementation Participating in educational seminars and client presentations Supporting business development and referral relationships The Ideal Candidate We're seeking an attorney who combines strong technical expertise with outstanding interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active bar membership in good standing Minimum 5 years of estate planning experience Experience drafting sophisticated estate planning documents Strong client counseling and relationship-building abilities Ability to independently manage matters from consultation through execution Preferred Qualifications LL.M. in Taxation Advanced estate, gift, and fiduciary tax planning experience Experience working with high-net-worth families Business succession planning expertise Multi-state licensure Established referral relationships or portable business Flexibility That Respects Experience This firm understands that many accomplished attorneys are looking for alternatives to the traditional law firm model.
