Job Description

Director and Head of Legal HH Fund focuses on investing and managing student housing apartments in the United States, along with full range of student services.

We are currently in search of a Director & Head of Legal to be responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters for HH Fund and its affiliated entities. The position serves as thecompanys primary internal legal resource, providing legal guidance related to corporate operations, real estate investments, contracts, compliance, and international business activities.

The Director & Head of Legal will report directly to Gary Chen, Chief Financial Officer, and Tony Shen, Chief Operating Officer. The Director & Head of Legal will be responsible forperforming the following specific duties: Provide legal advice and analysis on company matters including corporate governance, contracts, real estate transactions, and operational legal issues. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to acquisitions, partnerships, financing, property management, vendor services, and other business operations. Support legal aspects of real estate investments and transactions, including due diligence review and coordination with outside counsel and third-party stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and international laws and regulations affecting company operations. Manage and coordinate external legal counsel to support specialized legal matters and ensure timely and cost-effective legal services. Advise company leadership on legal risks, regulatory requirements, and legal implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives. Provide legal support for company activities conducted outside the United States, including review of international agreements and legal considerations related to overseas operations.
