Location:
This is a full-time, on-site position in Asheville, North Carolina. Our team values collaboration and maintains an in-office culture while offering flexibility to work remotely when business needs require.
Note:
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and possess at least 3 years of estate tax planning experience. A CPA designation or LL.M. in Taxation is strongly preferred. Confidential Employer. Job Description Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on estate, gift, income tax, and wealth transfer planning strategies. Develop and implement sophisticated estate plans tailored to client objectives. Counsel clients on business succession planning and related tax considerations. Analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic planning recommendations. Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and professional advisors. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver outstanding client service. Participate in community, business development, and professional networking activities. Manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and responsiveness. Assist clients with closely held business planning and ownership transition strategies. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active North Carolina Bar license. 3+ years of estate tax planning experience. Experience with estate planning, tax planning, and business succession planning. Strong knowledge of federal estate, gift, and income tax principles. Excellent communication, analytical, and client relationship skills. CPA designation or LL.M. in Taxation preferred. Portable book of business is a plus but not required.
