  • 395,000 An AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated transactional tax matters within a nationally recognized tax and corporate platform handling complex domestic and cross-functional transactions. The firm is seeking a motivated associate attorney with strong transactional tax experience who is interested in advising clients on high-value private equity, M&A, investment, and corporate transactions across a broad range of industries. The Role Associates in this position may work on matters involving: Private equity transactions Public and private mergers & acquisitions Joint ventures and strategic transactions Divestitures and restructuring matters Fund formations and investment transactions Transactional tax structuring and planning Corporate and partnership tax matters General tax support for sophisticated business transactions Attorneys will work closely with corporate, private equity, and investment management teams on strategic transactional matters involving sophisticated tax planning and structuring considerations. Ideal Background 4-6 years of transactional tax experience Experience supporting private equity and M&A transactions required Experience with fund formations and investment transactions is a plus Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage sophisticated matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials required North Carolina Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in Why This Opportunity AmLaw 50 platform with nationally recognized tax and transactional practices Sophisticated private equity and M&A deal flow Significant client-facing responsibility and hands-on experience Collaborative and collegial team environment Strong long-term growth potential within a leading national platform
Compensation:
$275,000
