Job Description

If you answered YES, then the City of Fayetteville is looking for you. The City of Fayetteville is seeking talented and energetic applicants for an Assistant City Attorney position. This position is responsible for providing a wide range of legal advice to assigned departments, boards and commissions, including drafting and reviewing contracts, ordinances, deeds, leases and other legal documents; representing the City in litigation and at various administrative hearings. Applicants must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; have three years of increasingly responsible experience as a practicing attorney in municipal or government law and a license to practice law in the state of North Carolina. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications must submit an on-line application and include their resume and cover letter.
