$140,000- $310,000

Position Type:

Full-Time, Permanent A respected law firm in Greensboro is seeking an Experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to handle sophisticated commercial disputes, work directly with clients, and take on a significant role within a collaborative and entrepreneurial legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a broad range of business and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation Represent businesses, financial institutions, shareholders, executives, and other clients in complex commercial disputes Develop case strategies and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to clients Draft and argue substantive motions, prepare witnesses, and conduct depositions Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials in state and federal courts Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the practice

Candidate Profile:

5+ years of experience in business, commercial, or complex civil litigation Proven ability to independently manage litigation matters and maintain direct client responsibility Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, restrictive covenant litigation, financial services litigation, and commercial real estate disputes Strong legal research, writing, deposition, and courtroom advocacy skills Experience handling matters in both state and federal courts is preferred Admission to the North Carolina Bar is required Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Prior experience at a regional, national, or highly regarded boutique litigation firm is a plus
