Full-Time About Burgos Law Office PLLC Burgos Law Office PLLC is a growing immigration law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to immigrants and their families. We handle a broad range of family-based and humanitarian immigration matters, including VAWA, U Visas, T Visas, SIJS, removal defense, waivers, adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization. We believe excellent legal representation requires more than technical knowledge. It requires compassion, strategic thinking, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to improving our clients' lives. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Immigration Attorney who shares those values and is excited to grow alongside our team. Responsibilities Conduct legal consultations and evaluate potential immigration relief. Develop case strategy in collaboration with the Managing Attorney. Prepare and review filings before USCIS, EOIR, the BIA, and other agencies. Draft motions, briefs, appeals, legal memoranda, and client declarations. Prepare clients for interviews and court proceedings. Attend hearings, USCIS interviews, and other legal proceedings as assigned. Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management. Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout representation. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing with a U.S. state bar. Immigration law experience preferred. Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
