Nebraska (Seward or York area preferred) About the Position We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of legal experience to join our growing Trusts & Estates practice. Our practice focuses heavily on serving farm families, agricultural operations, and rural small businesses , while also handling probate and trust administration matters . This position is ideal for an attorney looking for more than a traditional associate role. We are seeking someone who is relationship-driven, community-minded, entrepreneurial, and excited about helping grow and expand a thriving practice. Responsibilities Represent clients in trusts and estates matters Assist farm families and rural business owners with estate and succession planning Handle probate and trust administration matters Build and maintain strong client relationships Participate in business development and networking opportunities Become actively involved in the community Help grow and expand the firm's client base and market presence Collaborate with clients and team members to provide practical, long-term solutions
Qualifications Required:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or eligible for admission Minimum of 3 years of legal experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Preferred:
Experience in Trusts & Estates Probate and trust administration experience Experience working with agricultural clients, family businesses, succession planning, or closely held businesses Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in practice development Outgoing personality and willingness to engage in community involvement Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with clients, building relationships, becoming involved in the community, and helping grow a practice serving rural Nebraska families and businesses. A willingness to relocate and become part of the Seward or York, Nebraska community is strongly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
