Job Description

SUMMARY :
Our client, a well-established and growing law firm, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join its team in New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney to develop hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Associate Attorney will manage a workers' compensation caseload from intake through resolution. This role involves direct client interaction, case strategy development, and representation at hearings and depositions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality legal services.
RESPONSIBILTIES
: Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters independently with appropriate supervision Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance Develop case strategies and evaluate claims Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and other stakeholders Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely case progression
QUALIFICATIONS
: J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire (or ability to obtain promptly) 2-4 years of experience preferred; strong entry-level candidates will be considered Experience or interest in workers' compensation or civil litigation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Team-oriented with a high level of professionalism and integrity #INDPRO
