Job Description
Overview An established litigation practice is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated associate looking to handle sophisticated medical malpractice matters while building a long-term career within a collaborative litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to manage complex cases, gain meaningful courtroom experience, and work alongside experienced litigators from case inception through resolution. Position Highlights Manage medical malpractice litigation matters from inception through resolution Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs Take and defend depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters Develop litigation strategies while providing exceptional client service Opportunity for long-term professional growth and advancement Strong administrative and litigation support Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar Two to four years of medical malpractice litigation experience preferred Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Experience with depositions, motion practice, hearings, and courtroom appearances preferred Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Portable business is welcomed but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications Performance-based compensation opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and paid holidays Retirement savings plan Professional development and advancement opportunities Work Environment This is a fully on-site position offering a collaborative, team-oriented environment where attorneys receive mentorship, hands-on litigation experience, and opportunities for professional growth.
