Dean, LLC is a boutique immigration and family law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ known for compassionate, client-centered advocacy. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our growing team. This is a high-responsibility, client-facing role supporting the Lead Attorney across all phases of family law matters — including divorce, child custody, support, and equitable distribution. Key Responsibilities Draft and revise family law documents including divorce complaints, custody motions, parenting plans, property settlement agreements, and case information statements Conduct legal research on NJ family law statutes, case law, and court rules using Westlaw or LexisNexis Manage case files, deadlines, and communications in Clio; e-file through JEDS/eCourts Conduct client intake interviews and serve as a professional point of contact throughout active matters Assist with trial and hearing preparation including exhibit binders, witness summaries, and proposed orders Prepare discovery requests, demand letters, and litigation support documents under attorney supervision Qualifications ABA-approved paralegal certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience; direct family law experience strongly preferred Experience with NJ family court procedures and JEDS/eCourts preferred Proficiency in Westlaw or LexisNexis, Microsoft Office, and Clio (or comparable case management software) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply (Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, or other languages) To Apply Submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample to ldean@lakishadeanlaw.
