Litigation Attorney

A highly regarded, mid-sized law firm with a strong litigation backbone is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters typically handled by much larger firms, in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Experience:

The individual must have complex commercial litigation experience. We are looking for someone with experience in breach of contract claims, intellectual property disputes, shareholder derivative actions, and other business disputes. We would also like the individual to have complex litigation experience (difficult civil cases). Ideally the candidate would come from a mid-size to large firm in NJ. If coming from a NY firm that is fine as well.

Practice FocusThe associate will work on a wide range of litigation matters, which may include:

Complex commercial and business disputesEmployment-related litigation and counseling mattersWhite-collar and regulatory-related disputesInsurance coverage and general civil litigationEstate, trust, and fiduciary litigation mattersCases are handled from inception through resolution, and associates are given meaningful responsibility and client exposure early.
